तिलेभ्य इव तैलानि पृथक् चक्रे प्रयत्नतः ।
इन्द्रियाणीन्द्रियार्थेभ्यः कूर्मोऽङ्गानीव गोपयन् ॥ ३४ ॥

34. With effort, he separated his senses from their objects, just as oils are extracted from sesame seeds. He did this, withdrawing his senses just like a tortoise pulls its limbs into its shell.
