योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-54, verse-39

बभार हृदयाकाशे मनः संयममागतम् ।
विन्ध्यखात इवोन्मत्तं गजं युक्तिवशीकृतम् ॥ ३९ ॥

39. He held his mind, which had achieved restraint (saṃyama), within the space of his heart, just as a pit in the Vindhya mountains holds a wild elephant that has been brought under control through skillful means.
