वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-57, verse-86

अथाङ्गदो मुष्टिविभिन्नमूर्धा सुस्राव तीव्रं रुधिरं भृशोष्णम् ।
मुहुर्विजज्वाल मुमोह चापि संज्ञां समासाद्य विसिष्मिये च ॥८६॥
86. athāṅgado muṣṭivibhinnamūrdhā susrāva tīvraṃ rudhiraṃ bhṛśoṣṇam ,
muhurvijajvāla mumoha cāpi saṃjñāṃ samāsādya visiṣmiye ca.
86. atha aṅgadaḥ muṣṭivibhinnamūrdhā
susrāva tīvram rudhiram bhṛśoṣṇam
muhuḥ vijajvāla mumoha ca
api saṃjñām samāsādya visismīye ca
86. Then Aṅgada, his head shattered by the fist, profusely bled intense, very hot blood. He repeatedly blazed with fury, fainted, and then, regaining consciousness, he smiled.
