निजघ्नुः सहसाप्लुत्य यातुधानान्प्लवंगमाः ।
शैलशृङ्गनिपातैश्च मुष्टिभिर्वान्तलोचनाः ।
चेलुः पेतुश्च नेदुश्च तत्र राक्षसपुंगवाः ॥४९॥
49. nijaghnuḥ sahasāplutya yātudhānānplavaṃgamāḥ ,
śailaśṛṅganipātaiśca muṣṭibhirvāntalocanāḥ ,
celuḥ petuśca neduśca tatra rākṣasapuṃgavāḥ.

49. The Vanaras, suddenly leaping, killed the Rākṣasas. There, the chief Rākṣasas, with their eyes bulging out from blows of mountain peaks and fists, trembled, fell, and cried out.
