नरान्तकः क्रोधवशं जगाम हतं तुरगं पतितं निरीक्ष्य ।
स मुष्टिमुद्यम्य महाप्रभावो जघान शीर्षे युधि वालिपुत्रम् ॥८५॥
85. narāntakaḥ krodhavaśaṃ jagāma hataṃ turagaṃ patitaṃ nirīkṣya ,
sa muṣṭimudyamya mahāprabhāvo jaghāna śīrṣe yudhi vāliputram.

85. Seeing his horse dead and fallen, Narāntaka became overcome with anger. Raising his fist, that mighty warrior struck Aṅgada, the son of Vāli, on the head in battle.
