महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-30, verse-58

सती पुरा हृता काचिदारट्टा किल दस्युभिः ।
अधर्मतश्चोपयाता सा तानभ्यशपत्ततः ॥५८॥
58. satī purā hṛtā kācidāraṭṭā kila dasyubhiḥ ,
adharmataścopayātā sā tānabhyaśapattataḥ.

adharmataḥ ca upayātā sā tān abhi aśapat tataḥ
58. purā kila kācit satī āraṭṭā dasyubhiḥ hṛtā; ca adharmataḥ upayātā sā tataḥ tān abhi aśapat.
58. Long ago, a chaste Āraṭṭa woman, it is said, was abducted by robbers. Because she was violated unlawfully (adharma), she then cursed them.
