महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-30, verse-56

एतन्मया श्रुतं तत्र धर्मसंकरकारकम् ।
कृत्स्नामटित्वा पृथिवीं बाह्लीकेषु विपर्ययः ॥५६॥
56. etanmayā śrutaṁ tatra dharmasaṁkarakārakam ,
kṛtsnāmaṭitvā pṛthivīṁ bāhlīkeṣu viparyayaḥ.
56. etat mayā śrutam tatra dharma-saṃkara-kārakam
kṛtsnām aṭitvā pṛthivīm bāhlīkeṣu viparyayaḥ
56. mayā etat tatra śrutam; kṛtsnām pṛthivīm aṭitvā,
bāhlīkeṣu dharma-saṃkara-kārakam viparyayaḥ (asti).
56. This I heard there: having traveled throughout the entire earth, I found among the Bāhlīkas a situation of perversion that causes the confusion of the natural law (dharma).
