महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-30, verse-2

यत्त्वं निदर्शनार्थं मां शल्य जल्पितवानसि ।
नाहं शक्यस्त्वया वाचा विभीषयितुमाहवे ॥२॥
2. yattvaṁ nidarśanārthaṁ māṁ śalya jalpitavānasi ,
nāhaṁ śakyastvayā vācā vibhīṣayitumāhave.
2. yat tvam nidarśanārtham mām śalya jalpitavān
asi na aham śakyaḥ tvayā vācā vibhīṣayitum āhave
2. śalya,
yat tvam mām nidarśanārtham jalpitavān asi,
(tat) āhave tvayā vācā aham vibhīṣayitum na śakyaḥ (asmi)
2. O Shalya, as for what you have spoken to me by way of example, I cannot be intimidated by your words in battle.
