महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-30, verse-54

नापितश्च ततो भूत्वा पुनर्भवति ब्राह्मणः ।
द्विजो भूत्वा च तत्रैव पुनर्दासोऽपि जायते ॥५४॥
54. nāpitaśca tato bhūtvā punarbhavati brāhmaṇaḥ ,
dvijo bhūtvā ca tatraiva punardāso'pi jāyate.
54. nāpitaḥ ca tataḥ bhūtvā punar bhavati brāhmaṇaḥ
dvijaḥ bhūtvā ca tatra eva punar dāsaḥ api jāyate
54. nāpitaḥ ca tataḥ bhūtvā punar brāhmaṇaḥ bhavati
ca tatra eva dvijaḥ bhūtvā punar dāsaḥ api jāyate
54. And having then become a barber, one again becomes a Brahmin. And, in that very place, even after having been a twice-born (dvija), one is born again as a servant (dāsa).
