महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-198, verse-81

शुभानामशुभानां च कर्मणां फलसंचये ।
विपाकमभिजानन्ति ते शिष्टाः शिष्टसंमताः ॥८१॥

vipākamabhijānanti te śiṣṭāḥ śiṣṭasaṁmatāḥ.

vipākam abhijānanti te śiṣṭāḥ śiṣṭa-saṃmatāḥ

81. Those disciplined individuals, who are esteemed by other disciplined people, understand the ripening of the accumulated results of both auspicious and inauspicious actions (karma).

81. הם יודעים כיצד מבשילות התוצאות של המעשים הטובים והרעים כשהן מצטברות - אלה הם הטובים, המקובלים על הטובים.
