The body (dehaḥ) appears suddenly (jhaṭiti eva) from an unknown source (kutaḥ api), like a whirlwind. Just as one watches, it goes to its end (astam), like a wave (taraṅga), a cloud (ambuda), or a lamp (dīpa).
