योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-93, verse-69

दोलायन्त्योऽवनौ देहं सागरान्सागराङ्गनाः ।
यथा धावन्ति धावन्ति जनता विषयांस्तथा ॥ ६९ ॥
dolāyantyo'vanau dehaṃ sāgarānsāgarāṅganāḥ ,
yathā dhāvanti dhāvanti janatā viṣayāṃstathā 69

yathā dhāvanti dhāvanti janatā viṣayān tathā

69. Just as rivers, personified as women of the ocean, flow towards the oceans, causing their bodies to sway on the earth, so too people constantly rush towards sense objects.
