पतता तेन सिद्धेन ततः सौजन्यकौतुकः ।
मनसैवाहमगमं नभसो वसुधातलम् ॥ १९ ॥

patatā tena siddhena tataḥ saujanyakautukaḥ ,
manasaivāhamagamaṃ nabhaso vasudhātalam 19

19. patatā tena siddhena tataḥ saujanyakautukaḥ
manasā eva aham agamam nabhasaḥ vasudhātalam

19. Tena patatā siddhena,
tataḥ saujanyakautukaḥ aham,
manasā eva,
nabhasaḥ vasudhātalam agamam.

19. Then, driven by a curiosity about graciousness (saujanya), I followed with my mind (manas) that falling perfected being (siddha) from the sky to the surface of the earth.
