योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-93, verse-45

लोभमोहमहावर्ता पातोत्पातविवर्तनी ।
हा तप्ता जीविताख्येयं नदी नदनशीतला ॥ ४५ ॥
lobhamohamahāvartā pātotpātavivartanī ,
hā taptā jīvitākhyeyaṃ nadī nadanaśītalā 45

45. This river (of life) has great whirlpools of greed and delusion, causing falls and upheavals. Alas! This river named life is heated (distressed) and not at all cooling or refreshing.
