महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-188, verse-72

एवं पर्याकुले लोके मर्यादा न भविष्यति ।
न स्थास्यन्त्युपदेशे च शिष्या विप्रियकारिणः ॥७२॥
72. evaṁ paryākule loke maryādā na bhaviṣyati ,
na sthāsyantyupadeśe ca śiṣyā vipriyakāriṇaḥ.
72. evam paryākule loke maryādā na bhaviṣyati na
sthāsyanti upadeśe ca śiṣyāḥ vipriyakāriṇaḥ
72. Thus, when the world is in such disorder, proper conduct (maryādā) will cease to exist. Disobedient students will also not adhere to instruction.
