महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-188, verse-14

राजानो ब्राह्मणा वैश्याः शूद्राश्चैव युधिष्ठिर ।
व्याजैर्धर्मं चरिष्यन्ति धर्मवैतंसिका नराः ॥१४॥
14. rājāno brāhmaṇā vaiśyāḥ śūdrāścaiva yudhiṣṭhira ,
vyājairdharmaṁ cariṣyanti dharmavaitaṁsikā narāḥ.
14. rājānaḥ brāhmaṇā vaiśyāḥ śūdrāḥ ca eva yudhiṣṭhira
vyājaiḥ dharmam cariṣyanti dharmavaitaṃsikā narāḥ
14. O Yudhiṣṭhira, kings, Brahmins, Vaiśyas, and even Śūdras—people who are false to the natural law (dharma)—will observe natural law (dharma) merely by pretexts.
