महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-95, verse-84

तस्मात्सर्वास्ववस्थासु नरो लोभं विवर्जयेत् ।
एष धर्मः परो राजन्नलोभ इति विश्रुतः ॥८४॥
84. tasmātsarvāsvavasthāsu naro lobhaṁ vivarjayet ,
eṣa dharmaḥ paro rājannalobha iti viśrutaḥ.

eṣaḥ dharmaḥ paraḥ rājan alobhaḥ iti viśrutaḥ
84. tasmāt naraḥ sarvāsu avasthāsu lobham vivarjayet
eṣaḥ rājan alobhaḥ iti paraḥ dharmaḥ viśrutaḥ
84. Therefore, a person should completely give up greed in all circumstances. This principle of non-greed, O king, is widely known as the supreme intrinsic nature (dharma).
