कश्यप उवाच ।
कुलं कुलं च कुपपः कुपयः कश्यपो द्विजः ।
काश्यः काशनिकाशत्वादेतन्मे नाम धारय ॥२९॥
29. kaśyapa uvāca ,
kulaṁ kulaṁ ca kupapaḥ kupayaḥ kaśyapo dvijaḥ ,
kāśyaḥ kāśanikāśatvādetanme nāma dhāraya.

29. Kashyapa said, "I am associated with lineage (kula) and with 'kupapa' (protector from evil); I am 'kupaya' (the protector from trouble), Kashyapa, the `dvija` (twice-born). I am called 'Kashya' due to being like the shining Kāśa grass. Therefore, you must remember this name of mine."
