महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-95, verse-86

प्रीयन्ते पितरश्चास्य ऋषयो देवतास्तथा ।
यशोधर्मार्थभागी च भवति प्रेत्य मानवः ॥८६॥

86. His ancestors, sages, and deities are pleased. Furthermore, after death, a human being becomes a partaker of fame, righteousness (dharma), and prosperity.
