महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-95, verse-80

दुष्टा हिंस्यादियं पापा युष्मान्प्रत्यग्निसंभवा ।
तस्मादस्म्यागतो विप्रा वासवं मां निबोधत ॥८०॥
80. duṣṭā hiṁsyādiyaṁ pāpā yuṣmānpratyagnisaṁbhavā ,
tasmādasmyāgato viprā vāsavaṁ māṁ nibodhata.
80. duṣṭā hiṃsyāt iyam pāpā yuṣmān prati agnisaṃbhavā
tasmāt asmi āgataḥ viprāḥ vāsavam mām nibodhata
80. This wicked, sinful being, born from fire, might harm you. Therefore, O Brahmins, I have come. Know me to be Vāsava (Indra).
