शुनःसख उवाच ।
न्यस्तमाद्यमपश्यद्भिर्यदुक्तं कृतकर्मभिः ।
सत्यमेतन्न मिथ्यैतद्बिसस्तैन्यं कृतं मया ॥७७॥

77. śunaḥsakha uvāca ,
nyastamādyamapaśyadbhiryaduktaṁ kṛtakarmabhiḥ ,
satyametanna mithyaitadbisastainyaṁ kṛtaṁ mayā.

77. śunaḥsakha uvāca | nyastam ādyam
apaśyadbhīḥ yat uktam
kṛtakarmabhiḥ | satyam etat na mithyā
etat bisastainyam kṛtam mayā

77. Shunaḥsakha said: 'What was stated by those accomplished sages who did not perceive the initial offering, that is true; it is not false. The theft of the lotus stalks was indeed committed by me.'
