शुनःसखसहायास्तु बिसार्थं ते महर्षयः ।
पद्मिनीमभिजग्मुस्ते सर्वे कृत्याभिरक्षिताम् ॥१८॥

18. Indeed, those great sages, all of them, accompanied by Śunaḥsakha, approached that lotus pond (padminī), which was guarded by the (kṛtyā) demoness, for the sake of lotus stalks.
