महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-95, verse-73

साधयित्वा स्वयं प्राशेद्दास्ये जीवतु चैव ह ।
विकर्मणा प्रमीयेत बिसस्तैन्यं करोति या ॥७३॥
73. sādhayitvā svayaṁ prāśeddāsye jīvatu caiva ha ,
vikarmaṇā pramīyeta bisastainyaṁ karoti yā.

73. "Having prepared (food) herself, let her consume it, and indeed let her live in servitude. Let her die by improper actions (vikarma), she who commits the theft of lotus-stalks."
