महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-95, verse-35

विश्वामित्र उवाच ।
विश्वेदेवाश्च मे मित्रं मित्रमस्मि गवां तथा ।
विश्वामित्रमिति ख्यातं यातुधानि निबोध मे ॥३५॥
35. viśvāmitra uvāca ,
viśvedevāśca me mitraṁ mitramasmi gavāṁ tathā ,
viśvāmitramiti khyātaṁ yātudhāni nibodha me.
35. viśvāmitraḥ uvāca viśvedevāḥ ca me mitram mitram asmi
gavām tathā viśvāmitram iti khyātam yātudhāni nibodha me

35. Viśvāmitra said: "The Viśvedevas are my friends, and I am also a friend of cows. Thus, I am renowned as Viśvāmitra ('friend of all'). O demoness (yātudhānī), understand me."
