महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-95, verse-11

भीष्म उवाच ।
अथ दृष्ट्वा परिव्राट्स तान्महर्षीञ्शुनःसखः ।
अभिगम्य यथान्यायं पाणिस्पर्शमथाचरत् ॥११॥
11. bhīṣma uvāca ,
atha dṛṣṭvā parivrāṭsa tānmaharṣīñśunaḥsakhaḥ ,
abhigamya yathānyāyaṁ pāṇisparśamathācarat.

11. Bhīṣmaḥ uvāca atha śunaḥsakhaḥ saḥ parivrāṭ tān maharṣīn dṛṣṭvā abhigamya yathānyāyam atha pāṇisparśam ācarat.
11. Bhīṣma said: "Then, the friend of dogs, having seen those great sages, approached them and, as was proper, performed a respectful touch (pāṇisparśa)."
