महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-95, verse-54

ते शङ्कमानास्त्वन्योन्यं पप्रच्छुर्द्विजसत्तमाः ।
त ऊचुः शपथं सर्वे कुर्म इत्यरिकर्शन ॥५४॥
54. te śaṅkamānāstvanyonyaṁ papracchurdvijasattamāḥ ,
ta ūcuḥ śapathaṁ sarve kurma ityarikarśana.
54. te śaṅkamānāḥ tu anyonyam papracchuḥ dvijasattamāḥ
te ūcuḥ śapatham sarve kurmaḥ iti arikarśana
54. They, suspecting one another, questioned each other, O best of the twice-born. They all said, "We will take an oath," O subduer of foes.
