पशुसख उवाच ।
सखा सखे यः सख्येयः पशूनां च सखा सदा ।
गौणं पशुसखेत्येवं विद्धि मामग्निसंभवे ॥४३॥

43. paśusakha uvāca ,
sakhā sakhe yaḥ sakhyeyaḥ paśūnāṁ ca sakhā sadā ,
gauṇaṁ paśusakhetyevaṁ viddhi māmagnisaṁbhave.

Paśusakha said: O born from Agni, know me by this secondary designation 'Paśusakha', (because I am) he who is a friend to a friend, who is worthy of friendship, and always a friend to animals.
