Similarly, when it (Rahu) is in the eighth or twelfth house, or in a weak state, or in a debilitated sign, or conjoined with a malefic (pāpa) planet, then in the beginning of its sub-period (bhukti), there will be fear from the king or government, and affliction by poison, weapons, and similar dangers.
