मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-16, verse-88

अनसूयोवाच ।
यदि देवाः प्रसन्ना मे पितामहपुरोगमाः ।
वरदा वरयोग्या च यद्यहं भवतां मता ॥८८॥
88. anasūyovāca .
yadi devāḥ prasannā me pitāmahapurogamāḥ .
varadā varayogyā ca yadyahaṃ bhavatāṃ matā.
88. anasūyā uvāca | yadi devāḥ prasannāḥ me pitāmaha-purōgamāḥ
| varadā vara-yogyā ca yadi aham bhavatām matā
88. Anasūyā said, 'If the gods, led by the Grandfather (Brahmā), are pleased with me, and if I am considered by you to be a giver of boons (varadā) and worthy of a boon (vara-yogya)...'
