मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-16, verse-50

पुत्र उवाच ।
तैः सा प्रसादिता गत्वा प्रोहेष्टं व्रियतामिति ।
अयाचन्त दिनं देवा भवत्विति यथा पुरा ॥५०॥
50. putra uvāca .
taiḥ sā prasāditā gatvā proheṣṭaṃ vriyatāmiti .
ayācanta dinaṃ devā bhavatviti yathā purā.
50. putraḥ uvāca taiḥ sā prasāditā gatvā proheṣṭam vriyatām
iti ayācanta dinam devāḥ bhavatu iti yathā purā
50. The son narrated: They (the gods) went and propitiated her. (They then said to her,) "Let what is desired be chosen!" The gods then requested that the day be "as it was before."
