मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-16, verse-84

कर्मणा मनसा वाचा भर्तुराराधनं प्रति ।
यथा ममोद्यमो नित्यं तथायं जीवतां द्विजः ॥८४॥
84. karmaṇā manasā vācā bharturārādhanaṃ prati .
yathā mamodyamo nityaṃ tathāyaṃ jīvatāṃ dvijaḥ.
84. karmaṇā manasā vācā bhartuḥ ārādhanam prati yathā
mama udyamaḥ nityam tathā ayam jīvatām dvijaḥ
84. Just as my dedication is always expressed through action (karma), thought, and speech towards the service of my husband, so too may this brahmin live.
