अलर्काय पुरा प्रोक्तः सम्यक् पृष्टेन विस्तरात् ॥१२॥

The son said: 'Listen, father, to how the practice of (yoga) was extensively explained by the wise Dattātreya to Alarka, who had made a thorough inquiry, long ago.'
