अमावास्यां महातेजास्तत्रोन्मज्जन्महाद्युतिः ।
लोकान्प्रभासयामास शीतांशुत्वमवाप च ॥७०॥

70. On the new moon day, the greatly effulgent and highly radiant Soma, by immersing himself there, illuminated the worlds and attained his cool-rayed nature (śītāṃśutva).
