महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-34, verse-30

दोग्ध्रीश्च धेनूश्च सहस्रशो वै सुवाससः काञ्चनबद्धशृङ्गीः ।
हयांश्च नानाविधदेशजातान्यानानि दासीश्च तथा द्विजेभ्यः ॥३०॥
30. dogdhrīśca dhenūśca sahasraśo vai; suvāsasaḥ kāñcanabaddhaśṛṅgīḥ ,
hayāṁśca nānāvidhadeśajātā;nyānāni dāsīśca tathā dvijebhyaḥ.

vai suvāsasaḥ kāñcanabaddhaśṛṅgīḥ
hayān ca nānāvidhadeśajātān

30. And indeed, to the brahmins he gave thousands of milk-giving cows, beautifully adorned and with horns bound in gold. Similarly, he gave horses born in various countries, as well as conveyances and maidservants.
