एवमुक्तस्तदा चिन्त्य प्राह वाक्यं प्रजापतिः ।
नैतच्छक्यं मम वचो व्यावर्तयितुमन्यथा ।
हेतुना तु महाभागा निवर्तिष्यति केनचित् ॥६६॥

66. evamuktastadā cintya prāha vākyaṁ prajāpatiḥ ,
naitacchakyaṁ mama vaco vyāvartayitumanyathā ,
hetunā tu mahābhāgā nivartiṣyati kenacit.

66. Having been addressed in this way, Prajapati then pondered and spoke these words: 'This decree (vacas) of mine cannot be reversed in any other way. However, O highly fortunate ones, it will certainly cease due to some reason.'
