महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-112, verse-71

तं स गोमायुरालोक्य स्नेहादागतसंभ्रमम् ।
बभाषे प्रणतो वाक्यं बाष्पगद्गदया गिरा ॥७१॥
71. taṁ sa gomāyurālokya snehādāgatasaṁbhramam ,
babhāṣe praṇato vākyaṁ bāṣpagadgadayā girā.

71. The jackal, seeing him and having approached him with great agitation out of affection, humbly spoke these words with a voice choked with tears.
