अद्यैव न चिकित्सां यः करोति मरणापदः ।
संप्राप्तायां मृतौ मूढः करिष्यति किमातुरः ॥ ३८ ॥

saṃprāptāyāṃ mṛtau mūḍhaḥ kariṣyati kimāturaḥ 38

38. Whoever does not apply a remedy for the peril of death right now, what will that foolish and afflicted person do when death has actually arrived?
