योऽयमर्थं प्रार्थयते तदर्थं यतते तथा ।
सोऽवश्यं तमवाप्नोति न चेच्छान्तो निवर्तते ॥ २२ ॥

Whoever desires a particular object and then strives for it, he certainly obtains it, unless he gives up (śānta) and withdraws.
