योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-103, verse-50

श्यामायमाना नायान्ति यावन्मरणवासराः ।
सारः संह्रियतां तावद्वैरस्यं वस्तुदृष्टिषु ॥ ५० ॥
śyāmāyamānā nāyānti yāvanmaraṇavāsarāḥ ,
sāraḥ saṃhriyatāṃ tāvadvairasyaṃ vastudṛṣṭiṣu 50
50. śyāmāyamānāḥ na āyānti yāvat maraṇavāsarāḥ
sāraḥ saṃhriyatām tāvat vairasyam vastudṛṣṭiṣu
50. yāvat maraṇavāsarāḥ śyāmāyamānāḥ na āyānti
tāvat sāraḥ saṃhriyatām vastudṛṣṭiṣu vairasyam
50. Before the days of death arrive and grow dark, let the essence (of wisdom) be gathered, and let aversion (vairāsya) be cultivated towards the perception of (worldly) objects.
