यन्न पित्रा न वा मात्रा न चापि सुकृतैः कृतम् ।
श्रेयस्तद्वः परिज्ञातमिदमाशु करिष्यति ॥ २७ ॥

27. yat śreyaḥ pitrā na kṛtam,

tat idam parijñātam vaḥ āśu kariṣyati

27. That ultimate welfare (śreya) which was not achieved by a father, nor by a mother, nor even by virtuous deeds (sukṛtaiḥ), this perfectly understood knowledge will quickly bring it to you.
