बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-56, verse-41

पूर्वस्यां दिशि विप्रेन्द्र प्रयाणं धन्लाभदम् ।
कल्याणं च महाप्रीतिः पितृमातृसुखावहा ॥४१॥
41. pūrvasyāṃ diśi viprendra prayāṇaṃ dhanlābhadam .
kalyāṇaṃ ca mahāprītiḥ pitṛmātṛsukhāvahā.
41. pūrvasyām diśi vipra-indra prayāṇam dhan-lābha-dam
kalyāṇam ca mahā-prītiḥ pitṛ-mātṛ-sukha-āvahā
41. O preeminent Brahmin, journeying in the eastern direction grants wealth and profit. It brings about welfare and great joy, leading to happiness for both father and mother.
