अमात्यरहितस्तत्र पौरवर्गोज्झितस्तथा ॥६९॥

Seeing the mind dependent on that (foe, i.e., attachment), the intellect (buddhi) immediately perishes. Similarly, with no ministers and abandoned by the populace there, (the king, i.e., the self) becomes vulnerable.
