मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-3, verse-3

दृष्ट्वा महीं सनगरां साम्भोनिधिसरिद्वराम् ।
रथचक्रप्रमाणां ते पुनराश्रममागताः ॥३॥
3. dṛṣṭvā mahīṃ sanagarāṃ sāmbhonidhisaridvarām .
rathacakrapramāṇāṃ te punarāśramamāgatāḥ.

3. Having seen the earth, with its cities, oceans, and excellent rivers, reduced to the size of a chariot wheel, they returned to the hermitage.
