स एवमुक्तः प्रोवाच तमिन्द्रं पक्षिरूपिणम् ।
प्राणसन्धारणार्थाय दास्ये भक्ष्यं तवेप्सितम् ॥२६॥

26. sa evamuktaḥ provāca tamindraṃ pakṣirūpiṇam .

Thus addressed, he spoke to that Indra, who was in the form of a bird: 'For the sustenance of life, I will give you the food you desire.'
