प्रत्युवाच मुनिं शक्रः पक्षिरूपधरस्तदा ॥४९॥

Having thus heard the words of the sage, he, indra (śakra), who had assumed the form of a bird, was filled with inner astonishment (vismaya) and then replied to the sage.
