बिभ्यतां मरणात् तात त्वमस्माकं महामते ।
क्षन्तुमर्हसि दीनानां जीवितप्रियता हि नः ॥५६॥

O dear father, O great-minded one, you should forgive us, who are distressed and fear death, for indeed, life is precious to us.
