"O venerable one (mahābhāga), I was staying (tiṣṭhan) on the peak (śikhare) of Vindhya (vindhyasya), and I have fallen (patitaḥ asmi), indeed (vai) driven by the wind acting on my wings/feathers (patripatreritena), by the very swift (atiraṃhasā) wind (śvasanena)."
