अश्वारोहास्तु पाण्डूनामब्रुवन्रुधिरोक्षिताः ।
सुसंनिकृष्टाः संग्रामे भूयिष्ठं त्यक्तजीविताः ॥५७॥

57. aśvārohāstu pāṇḍūnāmabruvanrudhirokṣitāḥ ,
susaṁnikṛṣṭāḥ saṁgrāme bhūyiṣṭhaṁ tyaktajīvitāḥ.

57. But the horsemen of the Pandavas, drenched in blood, who were fighting in close proximity, and had for the most part given up their lives, spoke as follows:
