महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-22, verse-3

निवृत्ताः सहसा योधास्तव पुत्रप्रियैषिणः ।
संनिवृत्तेषु तेष्वेवं युद्धमासीत्सुदारुणम् ॥३॥
3. nivṛttāḥ sahasā yodhāstava putrapriyaiṣiṇaḥ ,
saṁnivṛtteṣu teṣvevaṁ yuddhamāsītsudāruṇam.

3. Your warriors, who desired the welfare of your sons, suddenly retreated. When they had thus fully withdrawn, the battle among them became exceedingly fierce.
