महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-22, verse-55

स मुहूर्तं ततो युद्ध्वा सौबलोऽथ विशां पते ।
षट्सहस्रैर्हयैः शिष्टैरपायाच्छकुनिस्ततः ॥५५॥
55. sa muhūrtaṁ tato yuddhvā saubalo'tha viśāṁ pate ,
ṣaṭsahasrairhayaiḥ śiṣṭairapāyācchakunistataḥ.
55. sa muhūrtam tataḥ yuddhvā saubalaḥ atha viśām pate
ṣaṭsahasraiḥ hayaiḥ śiṣṭaiḥ apāyāt śakuniḥ tataḥ
55. viśām pate saubalaḥ śakuniḥ tataḥ muhūrtam yuddhvā
atha śiṣṭaiḥ ṣaṭsahasraiḥ hayaiḥ tataḥ apāyāt
55. O lord of the people, Saubala (Shakuni), after fighting for a short while, then Shakuni departed from that place with his remaining six thousand horses.
